About Local Roots
NEW! 2010 Farmers Market Schedule
Local Roots Farm sits on the flood-prone banks of the Snoqualmie River, near the town of Carnation - about 25 miles outside Seattle.
Founded in 2007, Local Roots is a diversified vegetable farm. We grow a wide variety of vegetables on about six acres of land. We deliver fresh, delicious, and healthful food at local farmers markets, through our Community Supported Agriculture program, and to local restaurants.
Local Roots is Certified Naturally Grown, an alternative to the USDA's Organic label certification. We have chosen this certification for a number of reasons, and you can read more about how Certified Naturally Grown works on their website:

Local Roots in the community
You can find Local Roots produce at Seattle farmers markets, restaurants, and at Madison Market co-op. Again in 2009 we have partnered with Madison Market co-op member-owners in a unique workshare/Community Supported Agriculture program. Co-op members volunteer time on the farm and in return we deliver a harvest to the produce department each week of the season. This partnership helps make locally grown produce available to the central Seattle community every day of the week. For more info, please visit www.madisonmarket.com
